How do I know if I am a Christian?

Dear Friend,

If you are wondering how a person becomes a Christian or if you wondering if you truly are a Christian, then please read and act upon the information below.

  1. Ask the Questions

  2. Believe the Bible

(We must depend upon God’s Word and not our emotions, because our feelings may change from day to day, but God’s Holy Word never Changes)
  3. Confirm the Truth

  4. What to Do Now?

    1. If you now have Assurance, praise God for His precious Word that tells us how we can know that we are saved. Thank Him again for sending Jesus.
    2. If you realize after reading what God’s Word says about assurance of salvation, that you either never made a real decision for Christ or are still uncertain concerning your salvation, then act upon God’s Word.
      1. You simply need to repent from your sins, pray and ask for the forgiveness that is available through Christ sacrifice and ask him to be the Lord and Savior of your life. (note: Christ will help you to turn from your sins if you will turn to Him)
(1 Cor 10:13 NASB) No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, that you may be able to endure it.
      2. You can do that by praying a pray like what is given below:
Dear Lord Jesus, I know that you died for my sins. I agree with your word that says I am a sinner. I ask you now to forgive me for my sins. I ask you to come into my life and save me. Help me from this day forward to live for you. Thank you Jesus for saving me today.
    3. Now that you have repented and ask Jesus as Lord of your life, Here are some things you need to do.
      1. Tell People About Your Decision To Trust Christ As Savior & Lord. Listen To What Jesus Said.

(Mat 10:32 NASB) "Everyone therefore who shall confess Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven.
(Mat 10:33 NASB) "But whoever shall deny Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven.
      2. Join A Good Bible Teaching Church

(Heb 10:25 NASB) not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more, as you see the day drawing near.
      3. Read Your Bible Every Day

(Psa 119:105 NASB) Thy word is a lamp to my feet, And a light to my path.
      4. Pray: Talk To God Every Day

        (Col 4:2 NASB) Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving;
