Teana and I made our way to Warsaw, Poland yesterday. Today we drove to Auschwitz to become witnesses of “the organized Hell” that was the site of the largest mass murder in human history.
Only the Christian ethic offers hope for such attempted genocide. Only the cross makes us equal as sinners, regardless of race, nationality, etc. and only grace can enable us to live above our sinful natures. Only Jesus brings peace within and without.
No wonder Hitler hated the Jews and Christians as well. We are of the same blood, history and hope (the difference being we believe the Messiah has come). But Teana and I are here on behalf of Heritage to share the “good news of great joy” (Luke 2:10) that “where sin abounds, grace does much more” (Ro 5:20) offering forgiveness and to sinners and saints, (captors and captives, haters and lovers) alike.
Join us for the next two weeks as we travel first into a war-torn country for the 2nd anniversary of its conflict, and then into the Muslim world, “holding forth the word of life” (Phil 2:16), the only hope of a world that doesn’t understand it is committing suicide by murdering other people.
