Top of the mornin' to ya! 

Our kids are searching for hope in a chaotic world, looking for ways to move from anxiety to peace as they navigate school, social media, and even world events. 

We don't want to leave our kids like sheep without a shepherd. They need a trustworthy guide for their lives. At Emerald's Cross, kids will discover peace and security through Jesus. They'll journey through Ireland's lush landscapes, exploring the powerful words of Psalm 23. Along the way, they'll meet shepherd King David, and the Ultimate Shepherd, Jesus Christ. They'll learn how to  from anxiety to peace, from fear to faith, and from uncertainty to a firm foundation in God's word. They'll discover there is a God who cares for them with fun activities, engaging lessons, and unforgettable adventures. Your kids will uncover how Psalm 23 leads them to a life of hope, trust, and gratitude to their creator and Savior. Whether your kids are hearing about the Good Shepherd for the first time or growing deeper in their relationship with Jesus, Emerald Crossing will be a life changing experiencing, pointing each one towards the love and peace found only in Christ. 

Get your passport ready for an Irish adventure through the 23rd Psalm as we get to know the Shepherd and King Jesus Christ!

Who can attend VBS at Heritage Baptist Church?
This event is for kids entering 1st–7th grade (i.e. kindergartners who are moving into 1st grade all the way up to 6th graders who are moving into 7th grade). Nursery and preschool programs are available only for our volunteer workers.

Who will be providing care for children at this event?
All of our teachers and leaders are volunteers from Heritage Baptist Church who have completed a background check and have prior experience serving children.

What activities will be offered at this event?
Each night, children will visit several different stations:

• Assembly (singing, skits)
• Bible story
• Hands-on crafts and activities
• Recreation / games
• Snacks

Is there any cost for this event?
VBS at Heritage is totally free for all attendees.

Which entrance should I use?
Visitors are encouraged to enter the glass breezeway entrance (under the awning). Our check-in station volunteers will be there to greet you and help you!
